Grease trap inspections occur on a monthly basis pertaining to restaurants that have been given approval to discharging into the town’s collection system.
Grease traps are located in restaurants throughout town to catch any grease from food preparation before it reaches the collection system.
Inspections will ensure that restaurants are implementing their grease removal plan by privately contracting with a company to pump and dispose of all grease before it reaches the collection system.
